It has always amazed me how a well-designed survey can reveal powerful insights that can heavily influence major strategic decisions – whether guiding the research portfolios of pharmaceutical companies or informing multi-million-dollar marketing campaigns. However, in our increasingly personal and personalized world, people’s expectations – and hence, company’s market research needs – are becoming more and more culture and market-specific. For this reason, and with a strong desire to continuously grow and improve, it is my goal to establish a Market Research firm in Mexico that specializes in Latin-American culture and leverages cutting edge, data-focused strategies. in Marketing and with several years of experience in the field, I have developed a passion for marketing research and I have acquired part of the foundation needed to reach my goal. Nevertheless, I have experienced this by working at established organizations; thus, I still lack the knowledge to successfully start, manage, and grow a business and everything this entails. These are the gaps I expect to address with a Foster’s MBA. I’m particularly interested in an MBA from Foster School of Business as it allows me to tailor my MBA through the wide variety of electives offered –many of which align with my goals, such as Transforming Leadership & Strategic Thinking, Entrepreneurial Marketing, and Data Driven Marketing. As a woman, coming from a foreign country, needing to succeed in an environment where men historically dominate the business world, with aspirations of establishing a culturally-focused business, I’m going to benefit greatly by interacting with other students with similar challenges, aspirations, and experiences.
