In the past twelve years I have learned an abundance of skills ranging from arts to mathematics to literacy. In High School I chose to challenge myself, I decided on taking the most rigorous courses offered, as an International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidate. I also decided that I wanted my education to be personally satisfying as well as rigorous. Having a completely full schedule, I quickly learned the meaning of balance. School for me was not just about having perfect grades and test scores, although that was important, it was also about volunteering and participating in activities. It has also been about building relationships with my classmates, teachers, and administrators. All of the different pieces of my education have help strengthen me. Over the past three years I have developed as a person, who understands and values community. My discovery and realization is anyone can obtain a job but I desire to transform my eagerness to learn, to help others, and be patient into something more than just a future job or career. I want to be able to help all types of people no matter what they might be facing. It was not until recently that I had an epiphany, I wanted to go to school to be a pharmacist.
