ISIS’s (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) Impact on Muslims and the World

Over the past years and decades terrorist and extremist groups have carried out attacks that have had some serious effects on the world. Many people live in fear because they do not know what to expect next. ISIS has not only brought shame to other Muslims but it has also killed and injured many of them and many others around to world. ISIS has carried out many attacks most of those attacks are in the Middle East, however their attacks have reached international levels. The majority of Muslims despise ISIS, fellow Muslims are actually their most common victims and their most targeted enemies. The world’s religious Islamic political leaders condemn ISIS and its members as well as do the majority of Muslim states because of the fact that ISIS has evidently declared a war on their institutions such as religious temples, etc. In fact many of the Muslim people do not agree with the teachings that ISIS has promoted to the world using Islam as the foundation and justification for these teachings. And despite there being 1.2 billion Muslims ISIS has only been able to recruit about 2000. Those are other Muslims who practice the extreme and conservative form of Islam, after all every religion is what people chose to bring and get out of it. In ISIS’s case they want to speed up the arrival of the apocalypse and turning the world back to a medieval time. ISIS has created a stereotype for all of the Muslims around the world because now many people see them as terrorist or extremist even though Islam is not to blame for ISIS. Many of the people who were living in those now war torn countries have to seek refuge in other countries. However most countries won’t open up to take in refugees because of the reputations ISIS has created for them. So despite believing in the same religion they practice very different version of it and in no way should the actions of ISIS influence the view of other Muslims around the
