The illuminati was an elite organization that was founded by Adam Weishaupt in 1776 in Bavaria. The goal of this organization was to bring about political and spiritual change. The members of this society were the top tier of society which included influential leaders and forward thinkers. These select few opposed culturally established political abuse, superstition ,and religious oppression. This group quickly grew from 5 members to about 2,000 across europe. The illuminati was a political force until the pope mandated its demise after it just emerged. The Bavarian government made it a criminal offense to join the group. He was placed under the care of the Jesuits for his education. The Jesuits were the most influential group in Germany, and they had gained a stronghold within the Bavarian education and politics. They have been suppressed in other countries due to subversive learning and occult practices. Weishaupt was the chairman of the natural and canon law at the university of Ingolstadt in 1773, He warned to the emerging philosophies that was direct opposition to Jesuit behaviors and beliefs that were centered around supremacy and control. Weishaupt thought the world would be better with the overthrow of all government and religious institutions. His goal was to replace the institutional establishment with members from a global, selective, and secretive committee that combined spiritualism and politics under a collective sphere of influences which fostered morality and virtue. Only select members from the Minerval class were elevated to the rank of Illuminated Minerval. These members were given task to complete within the order to prepare them to make a mark for the illuminati cause. They were educated about human nature and ways to direct it in support of the order’s cause. Also they were charged with overseeing a small group of Minerval and guiding them along the path. Higher level have been add to the Illuminati, these levels were copied from the Freemason brotherhood. These were copied by a german named Adolf Franz Friederich Knigge, who joined the order around 1780. The order found themselves gradually being out outlawed by Christian and conservative, causing the group to fade out. Until the 1960s, the Illuminati we have heard about is no longer run by the Bavarians. David Bramwell who has dedicated himself to documenting the myth says Eastern philosophy is largely responsible for the group’s incarnation, it began with a text called Principia Discordia. The book was a parody text about a faith called Discordianism, which wants its readers to worship the god of chaos. This movement was a mutual that wanted to cause practical jokes, hoaxes and civil disobedience. This book never took off, but there was quote immortalised by writer Robert Wilson.“That such miscreant activities could bring about social change and force
