Online profiling and Social Media
Social media is the reason for many of the world’s problems and solutions. It can also be used to spread hate, especially between teenagers and young adults. Being a young adult I can truly say I have seen social media ruin and run peoples life. I never really been big on the social media but I do know that for sure watch what you put because it can mess your life up regardless of what you believe Social media is something you do not play about.
In Austin McCann’s Impact of Social Media on Teens articles he brings up that “social media is becoming more than a part of their world, it’s becoming their world.” Teens complain about constantly being stressed with homework, but maybe homework isn’t the main source

The false perception of life portrayed all over social media is misleading towards teens it can show you one thing and be the other leaving the other person embarrassed or seriously messed up depending the issue. Not only is social media misleading, it is also very unimportant. A majority of the posts are extremely insignificant and unimportant to our world today but its relevant because of the social media. In this day and age kids need to be worried about what they post. Any little small thing can be pulled up from years ago and backfire on you. Social media really has a big effect on student athletes as a whole one little mishap can cause you from playing or even worse getting you dismissed from the program. Look at the Laremy Tunsil case his twitter was hacked right before the NFL draft and they posted a video of him smoking out of a mask which hurt him from going number 1 in the draft to number 13. That video alone cost him 13 million dollars. Partying Pictures, Comparing Oversexualized Clothing, Viral Video Attempts, and Humiliating or Publicly Shaming Others when you are young may seem like it is all cool and funny but it won’t be when you go in for a job and they pull up everything you ever posted on social media?
Social Media sites are very attractive for teens, as well as for young adults. That presents opportunities for self-expression and some are able to build friendships. Youth "play time" in such environments can build skills that will be a foundation for career success in the 21st century. Many teens are safely and responsibly engaged in such
