The purpose of this part of the paper is to elaborate on the Jewish family structure and culture. The social behavior and norms found in human societies. It is the way to gain knowledge about a group of people, encompassing language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music and arts, beliefs and customs. A person culture help defines his or her background also aid to comprehend the person point of view of certain aspect of life. The Jews like all of us have their own family structure and culture. Family structure The Jewish people like most of us believe that family is very important. The first commandment in the Torah is to be fruitful and multiply. There are two main structures contested in ancient Israelites. The people were united under the monarchy, which organized the state for organizational and taxation purpose. The family served as the principal of Israelite life. It defined the way each individual fit into society. There is kinship relationship where land passed down from generation to generation with the firstborn son received an extra portion. Such family ties prevent conflicts among Israelites and it is a way to interact, exchange good and settle. The role of a women as an ancient Israel was restricted. Jewish women get in their teens and went to live with their husband’s family according to period and natural features. Women’s experience also varied according to their community. Jewish society, law, and tradition focus on the essential point of family.
