I strive for greatness in all that I do, and yes that comes with a few failures that I have had to face, but as Winston Churchill once said: "Success is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.". Going through high school I faced many challenges that almost every teenager can relate to like: bullying, failing a test or quiz, being stressed out about a paper, and the biggest one to me, what am I going to do after high school. I'm not sure what my true calling in life is just yet but figuring out what to do next is like a puzzle: half the fun is trying to figure it out. The University Of Minnesota-Duluth has always been my dream school. I have decided this is the place where I would like to embark on my college journey. Homework can be a pain and can sometimes feel unmanageable. Many people have issues with procrastination which is understandable, it is hard to focus on homework when your favorite show is on or your phone goes off, so being able to budget ones time is a useful skill to have. Although it can be laborious to avoid distractions and interruptions, there are two tips I use to stay on task. First, in order for me to concentrate I need to be focused on one thing at a time. Multitasking can lead to sloppy, unfinished, and unpolished work. Another strategy I use to stay on task with my school work is keeping a calendar. Keeping a calendar is beneficial because it shows what I have going on that day, when I am free to do school work, and what work I have to accomplish. Without a calendar I would be forgetting about assignments and prior obligations. Using these tips can help one with bettering themselves in both school and everyday
