The means of transport ranging water, sea, to land are one of the most essential for economic and social development both the region and across the borders of Texas. Good transport system facilitates easier fast movements of goods. The committee must come up with the suitable strategies that will ensure fast development of transport system. Kremen, Claire, and Miles reiterate that some of the transport networks that require much emphasis in every economy are; railroads, aviation, highways and transit, coast guard and maritime transport, and pipeline transport (4). Improved transport will also facilitate job accessibility. This is because many people from different regions of the state can easily move to where they work. These results to decrease in sole dependence in one employment sector in the economy thus providing job security to the citizens of Texas.
