Year Level In the study, year level is used as another indicator in profile of the respondents to measure its validity.
As defined in Thesaurus, year level is defined as the attained level of educational background a certain person has. It is the level of education that college students are assumed to have attained.
As also cited by Gentlemen (1999) year level is the student’s increases, learning competencies more skilled at using a Meta cognitive approach to their own learning: students gain confidence and tend to become more independent as learners. It is a series of educational courses which integrate the school or university curriculum with the workplace to create a different learning paradigm. Work-Based Learning deliberately merges theory with practice and acknowledges the intersection of explicit and tacit forms of knowing.
Kampits and Swail (2001) found out that 80 percent of college students surveyed in their study that is related to Work-based Learning (WBL) indicated that they learn better through projects and real-world applications than through classroom and textbook instructions only, and that 83 percent planned to participate in work-based learning experiences during college.
