People around the world have many different political views whether they are going for the same candidate or not. Some people are pro-life, and some aren’t, some people think we need to spend more money to help close our debt, and some people think that we need to just invest it into American businesses. There are people who are Republican, Democratic, Libertarian, you name it in the USA we have it. This is the land of the free and the home of the brave and people interpret it in so many different ways. I am sure that you could find maybe three people with the exact same ideas as you from the big federal money spending problems, to immigration problems, all the way to the other problems such as equality for the LGBT group, or legalizing marijuana in all 50 states. So since we had to choose an adult family member to interview about their political ideology, party affiliation, and their political efficacy, I decided to choose a family member who was from another generation, another time in the United States. She believes in a smaller government and a government that has less power because the government today is using too much of its power. I got her to give me her three reasons on why she feels this way and they were that she believed individual rights are important, which goes to show why she picked all the presidents considering that they all believed that individual rights were important as well, she also said that her religion played a very strong role in her choice, she was a catholic and so were here parents, yet she didn’t necessarily vote precisely on religion but it just kind of went hand in hand with her next reason which was that she was pro-life. So really, she didn’t vote for them because they were catholic or were not, such as when John F Kennedy was the first Catholic to run for President, she really just voted on pro-life or not
