Everyone today is living in an unequal society. Inequality has always been one of the most conversational topics in the history. When we talk about inequality, it means the income, the gaps in wages, the wealth, racial segregation. The gaps in the wages on the basis of gender “males earn much more than the female workers” the top companies are all directed and operated by man. People are separated on the basis of color. There is economic segregation that it a huge gap observed in between the richer and the poor. The rich is getting more richer and the poor is becoming more poorer. Due to increase in the tuition fees, parents are not able to afford that and teenagers are hesitated whether they should continue to study further as it is difficult to achieve. The increasing tuition costs means taking expensive student loans. By the time they are graduated they are forced to work in order to clear the debt. “Limited job prospects after graduation often discourage students from applying for more desirable jobs in their major, ultimately defeating the purpose of their high-priced degree and affecting their quality of life.” Thereby, they end up thinking several times whether it is effective to pursue college education or not. “One marker of relative prosperity in recent decades has been educational achievement. While the economic status of Americans with bachelor’s degrees changed little from 1971 to 2015, those who did not graduate from college fell down the income ladder.” One one hand the middle class families are slimming up. On the other hand the low income students are choosing to drop out or not attend a university at all. They think it is better to opt for a 2 year degree course to avoid high tuition.
