• Leadership is the influencing process of leaders and followers to achieve organizational objectives through change. If you manage to do that, you will be a successful leader. Indra Nooyi is a successful leader who achieved goals and targets that develop the organization. Also, she becomes the first woman to hold the post and enters the list of leading women. She believes that the strongest leader is the leader who work and share decision making with his employee. She also believes that the leader should focus in the goal of the organization but also leaders should also focused on people (employee). In PepsiCo she tried to build a relationship with employee through the communication with their parents. For example, she did an interview with an employee and she called his mother to ask her why PepsiCo is the right choice. She also sent a thankyou card to her employee’s parents for the wonderful job the son or daughter is doing in the company. This communication can build trust and relationship with the leader, which lead to a great environment that an employee can work in comfortably.
