A Happy Tail Imagine being a cat that was in a home where you do not even receive the minimal amount of food required by law. You are surrounded by your cat “friends” and do not see many people, only your “owner” that does not even pay attention to themselves, and believes that they are helping you. Living in a place that is never clean. Being sick all the time and, just barely, are able to come back from it. You have spent all of your life like this. Excrement is everywhere, which there isn't much of because you are not given food or water that would be needed to even make feces. The SPCA, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, is part of the ASPCA, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The ASPCA has helped change plenty anti-cruelty laws for animals in tons of countries. The goals of the ASPCA are to provide an effective way to prevent animal cruelty all across the U.S. The ASPCA’s way to reach these goals is to help owners keep their pets with them and put pets in homes. The ASPCA gives low-cost spay/neuter programs; they have a volunteer program, which is the heart of the ASPCA; adoption programs; field investigators and response teams that respond to alerts out in the field; and many other programs. The ASPCA helps out pet owners and all types of animals. Some of the animals were abused, hoarded; like Tyson, and were put into mills, where they are bred, sold, and then,treated badly, and stuck in very disgusting places.
