British naturalist John Lubbock wrote, “Your character will be what you yourself choose to make it”. What we do heavily influences what kind of person we are. However, we are also influenced just as much by outside influences. The topic on what influences character is a heavily discussed topic. In my opinion it is not our actions that influence our character, but our character that influence our actions. You do not automatically say thank you to someone to become a nice person, but you say thank you in that same situation because you are a nice person. In these kind of situations were talking about automatic human responses to a variety of actions. These actions are just natural to who you are. All based of one thing and that’s your character.
