Through the history of the world, there have been many influential people. These people impacted the world in a positive way by being a great influence to others, inspiring people to follow their dreams, and by doing great things that left a mark on the world. One individual that qualifies in all these categories: Laura Ingalls Wilder. Laura Ingalls Wilder is influential because of the her many accomplishments in life, her inspiring people to follow their dreams, and because of the people who taught her how to be herself. Laura Ingalls Wilder, a very bright woman, is influential because of her accomplishments.
The person I consider to be an influential hero is Moira Smith. I refer to Moira Smith as a hero because she saved many strangers’ lives. Her life was dedicated to saving citizens from disasters that had occurred. Moira had even saved victims in exchange for her own life. Most people cannot do such a selfless thing as to risk their life to save others’.
Since he was born in an impoverished country, his drive for success in America was motivated by being a good example for his country. My success would be testament in the community in which I live. serving underrepresented individuals is important because I live in a small underrepresented community of Gary, Indiana. I love to help people; it 's my passion to make a long-lasting positive change in the surrounding people. My dad 's achievements are a constant reminder of what I will do once I get to college and for what is up ahead.. After college, my next step is medical school.
If it was not for him; I probably would not have come out of my shell. My grandfather taught me the importance of family. He reminded that this may be the only opportunity I may actually experience the idea of being with family. I listened to him and being in Ecuador taught me my true identity; going to Ecuador taught me what it meant to be with family. When I got back to the U.S, and a few months have passed by.

Not only has he had the biggest impact on my life, but has always been with me since I was a small child. His name is not spoken much, because to most it is irrelevant. To be honest, I really do hate him, but I cannot leave him even if I wanted to. I am stuck with him for the rest of my life.
Elvis Presley has had more impact on American society and culture than any other person in history for the three following reasons; his large contribution to the start of the generation gap in the 1950’s, his huge impact on rock ‘n’ roll music, and finally, his music opened a door for some integration between races. First of all, in the 1950’s Elvis Presley and his music started the era of the generation gap between teenagers and their parents, an era which is still going on today. With Elvis being very young, attractive and his new type of music and dancing, teenage girls fell head over heels for the young star. Most parents though, did not feel the same way about Presley. He was often described a vulgar and many accused him of corrupting the youth.
He left an important legacy to the family of the people he saved and inspired others to put their life on the line no matter the
nurture lens can really put into perspective the level of influence they have had on me. My parents have always been very bold and daring, this is something I see in myself to an extent and I think this defines the nature aspect because this is a quality that inherited from them rather than acquired based on the way they raised me. My parents both graduated from college in India during a time when pursuing higher education was not the norm. My dad has a master's in chemical engineering and my mother holds a bachelor's in psychology because of this they have always stressed the importance of grades and school. This is why I am very school oriented and have very high goals and aspirations.
Having formed an opinion of what goals to achieve provided direction and an ethical base to live my life by. My Father has influenced me in what it means to look outside and consider the values that are communicated in my teachings, charitable actions, devotion to family, as a pillar in the community, and leadership. Size of family, my sister and I an only son, were born in California, and raised in Florida, further in my twenties is when our family moved to Missouri and I joined the Army. My father had returned from Vietnam and started working in California and met my Mother. My Father is 15 years older than my mother, this makes him more aware, mature, and distinguished.
There have been many people in my life who have impacted it both negatively and positively, but no one has had an impact in my life greater than my mom. This woman is just amazing in my eyes, right from the beginning because of the way she raised me, if I had children I would raise them the same way she raised me. The person she is, in general, has really had a great effect in my life, and also how she has always told me about the struggles shes had in her life from the ones I didn't see to the ones I have seen with my own eyes. I believe if I didn't know my mother as well as I do, she wouldn't have influenced me as much as she does. The way my mom raised me has made me the person I am today, so if I were to say she didn't impact my life I would be lying.

The Important people in your life can have a massive effect on your life and how you will live it. When I think of an important person in my life, my mind always wanders to my grandmother. She helps me and my family members whenever we need her. It could be a small favor like an extra couple dollars for lunch to a larger favor as in living with her for a couple years. My grandmother would also be my hero.
