The constitution was created in order for the country and government to support and protect we the people. The constitution also gives us hope that we are safe and protected in our country. Now for the question, who has the most power in the constitution? I argue that the congress have the most power. The congress is apart of the Legislative branch.I will explain why i think that in the next paragraph.
I agree that we the people have great power, or heavy power, but i still think that the congress has the most power. They have more power than any of the other branches. The people don’t. He or she is the commander is chief of the armed forces. The President also nominates judges and justices and maintains the cabinet. These powers don’t seem very powerful. But however, the President can be very powerful, especially when the Congress and the President work together, for example when the presidency and the Congress are held by a single political party. In this case, it is very common for the President to set policy that the Congress merely rubber-stamps. In such a case, the President can be said to be very powerful. Both the president and congress have great power. I feel like the congress has like 60% power and the president has like 40% power.
