Domestic violence seems to be everywhere, and no matter your social standing seems to be committing this crime. Yet law enforcement officers are supposed to be protecting communities against criminals, seem to be participating and overlooking domestic violence as a seriously crime. Domestic violence is a controversial topic among researchers, professionals, and the media to examine the dynamics committed by law enforcement. It can happen to almost anyone, by anyone, even law enforcement officers that are supposed to uphold and protect the law. Law enforcement officers neglect domestic violence calls and some even participate within the violent act. This is a scary situation that should be addressed and stopped. It not only effects the victim, but it effects the thoughts and feeling of everyone if this crime continues to be bypassed and no excuses should be made for these actions.
