Funding for Music Education Funding for Music Education is completely relevant and an enormous discussion in our schools: due to a lack of funding and many different viewpoints on the topic. Some people will think that music education in grade school is irrelevant; others would argue music education is a waste of time. I for one believe that music education is one of the best classes one can go through. This type of education teaches one how to work as a part of a whole, a team; music education also teaches each individual involved how to multitask in marching band by marching, playing, and watching to make sure one does not collide into one another on the football field.
