The topic I will be talking about is breast cancer and it is really personal because it has affected my family and I. Breast cancer is a disease that is common in women of all nationalities. This is a type of cancer that has affected over 7.1 million women in the last three years. It has also killed over 50,000 women in less than two years! This life risking disease has even taken the life of one of my own family members. It is also affecting a family member close to me as we speak. Breast cancer affection rate and population is still growing. Breast cancer is a disease that has been around in this world for over 3,000 years but was not named breast cancer till 250 year ago and scientist still have discovered no cure. Scientist and other important occupations have been working on three trial drug cures for breast cancer. The five breast cancer treatments are lump removal surgery, medical procedures, drugs or so medications, trial drug and a treatment specialists. Each treatment has a risk especially the drug treatment. The risk of failing depends on the stage your in. The doctors usually give you a choice of what you want to do as a treatment but it depends still on the stages and height of risk. There are five stages in breast cancer the higher the number (1-5) the higher risk and least likely you will pull through. The worst stage is stage is stage five A.K.A death stage. Over ½ the women who have had breast cancer have made all the way up until stage five. The reason why stage five is the deadliest is because that is when the tumor or so lump has grown so big in the breasts it hit a non-adjusting body party and what I call the death venom gets in the non-adjusting body part and affects it.
