Over the years we came up with a lot of ways for curing cancer, many of them failed and many of them are succeeding the most popular way right now is chemotherapy. Can we come up with more efficient and effective ways to cure cancer forever? The treatment for cancer may vary on what type of cancer and how bad it got inside the body cells and tumor types. Each treatment varies by types, each treatment has a benefit and side effect. The most known type of treatment is chemotherapy. Also known as chemo, it’s a really strong drug that is used to destroy cancer cells and kill all of them. This treatment is used to fight cancer by changing the hormones in a patient's body to destroy or heal certain form of cancer that uses certain hormones to grow and spread around the whole body. My grandma had breast cancer, she tried radiation therapy and didn’t help at all with destroying the cancer cells so the doctor had to remove the breast with the tumor and it worked and now she is cancer free. If you don’t get treatment for this disease right away, the chances of you surviving decreases more by the more time you stay without treatment. I had one of my friends pass away in June due to a brain tumor. And this is what inspired me to write about this disease and he passed because it was too late when he discovered he kept ignoring signs like always feeling tired and really bad headaches, he didn’t want to get checked up he kept saying its ok headaches are normal for me and it wasn’t. The last type of treatment is the stem cell transplant. Stem cell transplants are procedures that restore blood-forming stem cells in people who have had theirs destroyed by the very high doses of chemotherapy or radiation therapy that are used to treat certain cancers. White blood cells, which are part of your immune system and help your body fight the infection, red blood cells which carry oxygen throughout your body, and platelets, which help the blood
