The year 2015 is definitely what I would like to call ‘’ a changed world.’’ New inventions, new transportations, also (and I’m sure hardly anyone thinks about this when they hear the words 2015) child adoption. Child adoption has been around basically since the beginning of time but one of the main struggles with child adoption was around the 1970’s to the 1980’s. Times back when they were very cruel. Everything was good there it was still freezing cold and the population was about was a lot bigger than what they were used to . In Minnesota they had some friends that were wanting to adopt so they went to Columbia to adopt two young children. The two chosen adopted kids ended up getting very sick and sadly passed away. When they arrived in Columbia they got to see each kid individually and find two other kids. Before they left they saw a little boy who looked around 10 years of age and for some reason they felt that God had wanted them to take a picture of him and show him to the Johnson family. The Johnson family didn’t know whether to adopt him or not but they took the chance anyway. The bank Paula’s dad was working, at his boss had threatened him that if he was to adopt Fernando that he was going to fire him because he didn’t want that ‘’thing’’ going to school with his daughter. They would try and go into shops and snuggle with newspapers to stay warm, but most shopkeepers didn’t like that and would pour gasoline on these kids and burn them to death.
