Snowmobiling has been a part of my life ever since the age of 3 when I got a arctic cat kitty cat. I have always loved riding ever since then. In my family it is a great way to get out and do something we all enjoy, and it is a great way to become closer to friends and family. Snowmobiling is also a great way to stay active and stay in shape. You are constantly meeting new people while up riding as well. It is really cool to see how fast new riders improve their riding skills even from one ride to the next. Snowmobile clubs are very important for the communities. It is a way to stay active in the community and meet new people if you are new in the area especially. They are also always looking for new land they could possibly open up to snowmobilers. The clubs are really a big part of the sport without them snowmobiling the sport just would not be even close to the same. They really focus on new people joining the clubs and helping them get into the sport. They really focus on the kids graduating and going into college as well, all the active members focus a lot of their time on fundraising for the scholarships. It is very nice to have the members of CCSA reminding the kids to apply for the scholarships as well. CCSA is a rare club where the state even lets us stake and mark the trails on the beartooths. We even keep our own safety shelter to help keep the community safe up on the mountain. We also as a club help with educating the public on avalanche trainings and advice on how to keep the community enjoy the sport in a safe manner. We also do at least a few events each year trying to get more of the community active in the sport for instance we have put on a chili feed in the past which was very successful. Snowmobiling is one of the best sports to get into in my mind there are a bunch of enlightening people in the sport that
