Wenatchee Valley College has many resources available for students. One of the many resources they have and one I would like to talk about would be athletics specifically the Womens soccer team. The athletic northwest conference is very competitive there are about 35 community colleges throughout Washington and Oregon state. WVC athletics teams have enjoyed many years on the top ranking of the dozens of teams that make the NWAC'S. Anya Belcher the head coach of the women's soccer team is originally from Cashmere, Washington.

Soccer helped me stay on tops of things, I became more organized, studious, outgoing, healthy. If you enjoy playing soccer you should definitely try out! The Women soccer team does many activities, for example they go on hikes. It's not all about running, they find different things that will get you a workout but will also, be fun. They also have team dinners and team retreats which are always fun and where you get to know more about your teammates. The bonds you create with your teammates are incredible these people might turn out to be your lifelong friends. Playing soccer can also save you some tuition money, there are many athletic scholarships out there for students to apply. Another reason to consider joining the team would be the support you get, as a college athlete, you will get the support from some of the most influential people in your life. Your coaches, teammates, and trainers will help you with anything and everything you need. Everything from emotional slumps to reach any academic goals. Last but not least Academic motivation, as Anya Belcher said a minimum GPA of 3.0 is required to be eligible to participate in games. Coaches also make sure their athletes are keeping up with their grades and will even encourage team study tables so that the team makes grade requirements. The WVC women's soccer team has a lot to offer as you can see,
