Not only throughout my high school career, but also my whole life; I have played the sport that not only I love, but also my family loves, soccer. Throughout my years of playing soccer, the sport has helped me in many ways such as, bettering my life skills, helped decide what career to pursue, and brought me closer to my family. Soccer is a large part of my life and affects many aspects of it. It has taught me many different things and I feel being in the sport positively impacts my life. Growing up with multiple family members being various nurses and having different jobs in the medical field, I soon learned early in my life that is what I want to pursue. I plan to be a physical therapist because it would give me the chance to help better someone's life. While playing soccer is fun, I have endured several injuries that were not fun. However, I was able to heal and overcome my obstacles thanks to physical therapists and athletic trainers. They showed me the impact they have in others lives and I believe that it very unique and cool. Soccer has taught me that if I am capable of doing something good that I should help others to allow them to achieve new skill levels for themselves. Being a physical therapist would allow me to continue to follow that motto but in a different way. I would be able to help others with things they struggle with to hopefully teach and guide them to achieve their goals and overcome their obstacles and challenges.
