When I first thought about how soccer impacted my life, nothing really came to mind. I was that kid who mostly looked forward to the end of the game snacks and bringing around the goal jar. But when I actually began thinking about more about playing soccer I realized that soccer was the first place where I was fully submerged into something completely new. I learned how to make friends, how be a leader, and how to have good sportsmanship. These are all things that have made me into the person I am today and it all began on the soccer field.
Soccer is an excellent game for developing basic motor skills and coordination. All you need to play soccer is a ball and an open space. This means that the sport can be played by people of all ages and backgrounds, regardless of their income or location. Soccer is a visually appealing game. The crowds in the gallery, the game on the green grass, the roar of the people, and the theme of a free kick really make this game even more enjoyable.
Soccer is a very strategic game and you have to mentally think about each move or play that is being presented because just kicking the ball around isn't an effective method and most times won't result in a Victory. Over all soccer is a much more mentally and physically exhausting sport i'm not saying football isn't any of these football is a tough sport as well but soccer definitely gives and presents much harder of a challenge for people entering the sport a person just entering the soccer realm will realize that soccer may be one of the least easy sports to join most good soccer player have played since they were little and it definitely pays off.
It's been years since I kicked the ball around, but I'll never stop loving the game both as a player and as a fan. I've learned so much through practices, all-star tournaments, and half-time snacks that are impossible to let go of. Competing in soccer taught me more than the rules of play; it provided me with tools that quickly translate into other aspects of my life.
