One reason why I like this class is due to the diversity professions in which students are oriented. In the area of social work, the informed consent must be written in a clear form to ensure that clients understand the purposes, costs, and reasonable alternatives of the services provided. Client should also be aware that they can refuse or withdraw from services at any given moment. During consultations, social workers should provide adequate time to clarify doubts and answer questions that clients might have. When clients are not literate, have an intellectual incapacity, or are not proficient in the English language, social workers must verbally explain the informed consent or find a qualified interpreter or translator when needed. Social
