Pulmonary: Chest wall symmetric, respirations even and unlabored. Lungs CTA. Cardiac: Sinus tachycardia, NL S1, S2. No murmurs or rubs.
Annexe 1 : Heart murmur 1. An unusual sound coming from the heart that can be detected by a stethoscope. These noises are caused by an abnormal turbulence produced when blood flows across one of the heart (valves, cardiac chambers) and or vessels close to the heart Heart murmurs are classified by the intensity of the sound heard: Stage I (murmur is of low intensity and can hardly be heard) to Stage VI (murmur is extremely loud).
Sadly there are many pediatric heart conditions in the world that are treated every day, and many more arise as well these cases include ASD, VSD, PDA and TOF. The first major condition being Atrial Septal Defect (ASD). This defect is actually in the septum the wall that separates the right and left sides of the heart. A hole in the wall between the two upper chambers is called an atrial septal defect, or (ASD). This is one of the least complex forms of congenital heart defect of the many in infants, and was one of the first types to actually be repaired surgically.
5. Approach to the diagnosis. 5.1. Is it cardiac or not? 5.2.
1) In mitral stenosis a diastolic murmur is present due to stenosis, or narrowing of the valve. The murmur is heard when the mitral valve fails to open appropriately in diastole. The leaflets of the valve are usually thicker, stiffer, and become misshapen from the effects of rheumatic fever or a congenital defect (Porth, 2011). The crackles in her lungs are likely due to left sided heart failure leading to pulmonary hypertension.
Congenital interventional cardiology is a stimulating and fascinating career. It is not algorithm driven, rather it is creative and out of box thinking based science. This fact coupled with the constant developing of newer and more effective devices and tools rendering the field more productive and effective every year. Being able to treat
After the rollercoaster of emotions Hearties experienced last Sunday I think we deserved a much lighter episode this week, which is exactly what we got! This episode, entitled Healing Heart, picks up two weeks after Jack left for the North. We find Elizabeth having mixed emotions. She is happy knowing that she is engaged to the love of her life, but of course is worried for his safety and anxious not knowing when he'll return. We are also introduced to some more new faces, we learn more about Abigail's new cook, and we add business woman to Rosemary's list of many talents.

The narrator from “Tell Tale Heart” is insane because he literally stalks a man for seven nights. On the last night, he was done stalking. He finally made his move. He wanted to get rid of an old man who he stayed with majority of his life.
“I've heard many things in the heaven and in the earth. I've heard many things in hell”(Poe). In the story The tell tale heart, a man ends up killing his old man over his “Vulture eye”. He loved the old man. But his “evil eye” vexed him and he decided to take his life.
When I was born, the doctors noticed something strange. Something wasn’t quite right with one of my organs. They looked into it and found that the problem was a weaker variation of Kawasaki disease. Kawasaki disease is a heart disease where the cells in your heart don’t recognize friendly cells and attack them, creating an inflammation. It’s a rare disease, found mostly in Japanese patients like me.

None is present in my patient. I am examining the respiration patterns. My examination includes inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation of the posterior and anterior thorax. Thorax is symmetric with good expansion. Lungs sounds are resonant with vesicular breath sounds.
I NEED TO EXPAND HERE A LITTLE. The procedure to remedy this problem was to undergo an open heart surgery. Considering the fact I was 3, I have minimum recollection of the surgery other than a scar which was a constant reminder of what difficulties me and my family had to go through for my good health. I will always be in debt of the doctor who helped diagnose me in time and prevented further complications.
