In the book, Tris is constantly worried about acting strong and being tough because she thinks Tobias sees he as strong and tough. One quote to prove this is, “He still believes that I am strong” (Roth 85). I can connect to Tris through sports, my dad is always pushing me to be my best and get faster and stronger.
