The short documentary, Evolution’s Achilles Heel many talked from a creationist point of view in which they mainly disprove the evolutionists ideas of how the world came to be. Evolution the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth. Evolution is also called Darwinism, because it was thought up by, Charles Darwin. Evolution is caused by mutations in the genes, which allows new species to be formed. But creationist don’t believe that.
“Intelligent Design Creationism” was the term used after “creation science” was no longer used. The Intelligent Design Creationism Movement, or the IDC movement, was anti-evolution, which included young earth, old earth, and progressive creationism. However, theistic evolution was not included. Intelligent design and Macroevolution are two different theories that explain how life came to be. Lots of people have different beliefs whether it is a supernatural beginning or even just evolution. With science, its main job is to prove or give insight about the beginning of life creation. Even in today's time people are still trying to find evidence to support those claims. To discuss those claims I will be using two methods, Intelligent design and macroevolution theory.
The blind watch maker analogy that was presented is brilliant. Creationists, use their own version of the watchmaker argument saying if you were walking down a beach and you found a watch you could assume there was a designer. But when it comes to talking about existence, physical reality, and life, It’s a little different. The analogy at first glance seems to work but then you realize that even metaphorically speaking it’s an equivocation fallacy.
The theory of evolution allows a seemingly useless gene to survive over generations if it does not endanger the survival of organisms containing it, during which it may gradually become significant. Hence, the argument of irreducible complexity, which is the core argument of intelligent design, does not threaten the validity of the theory of evolution. In the end, creationists have failed
The theory of evolution was formulated by Charles Darwin who first formulated his theory in 1859, defined it as the “process by which organisms change over time because of changes in heritable physical or behavioral traits. Changes that allow an organism to better adapt to its environment will help it survive and have more offspring.” (Than, 2018) It is natural selection that decides what changes the organism needs so that those changes allow the organism to better adapt to its new environment, it is the biggest evolutionary mechanism. Its purpose is for evolutionary success to promote growing populations of the next generations to come.
Instant Creationists believe that the duration of an act of creation to be much shorter than six literal human days. The main argument behind is that the days of creation could not be related to human time since God is timeless. Some instant creationists believe that the act of creation had happened parallel in an instant and there is no actual perceivable time gaps between the events while others consider the process to be completed sequentially in less than literal six human days as in genesis.
Intelligent Design on Trial The Intelligent design proponents’ arguments are full of scientific fallacies- such as the idea that nothing can explain creation but God. Genuine science accepts new ideas, even if they conflict with prior theories- it does not stand stubbornly with its claim, refusing to accept an alternative. Intelligent design finds its origins in the bible- a book which Christians say to be written towards the beginning of time. 400 years ago, any woman with red hair, green eyes, or a wild personality was burned at the stake for being a witch.
The other reason both evolution and intelligent design should be taught is because there 's evidence of both. All though there may not be a lot of it, there definitely is proof that both theories could be true. Intelligent design proof mostly comes from the Bible. In Genesis 1:26 God spoke, “Let us make mankind in our image, our likeness…” Then in 1:27 it then states, “So God created mankind in his own image, male and female he created them.”
Mindell tells us that “proponents of intelligent design claim that some features of life are too complicated to have evolved naturally. Although they emphasize that the designer is not necessarily God, proponents uniformly believe that God is the designer…” Mindell quotes law professor, Phillip Johnson, a proponent of intelligent design and author of Darwin on Trial: “Our strategy has been to change the subject a bit so that we can get the issue of intelligent design, which really means the reality of God, before the academic world and into the schools.” “Intelligent design proponents clearly believe that God is an active participant in creation, though they are divided as to whether this activity takes the form of front-loading all outcomes at the Big Bang, episodic intervention of the progressive creationism form, or other, less well-articulated possibilities. Theistic evolution, however, is ruled out or at best viewed as an ill-advised accommodation.” Intelligent design can be seen as “faith” taking “fact” seriously by arguing that the complexity of origins cannot be adequately explained by evolutionists.
There has long been a debate between the ideas of Evolution and ID/Creationism. Ever since Darwin published his book, Origin of Species, there has been a debate on which answers the beginnings of our world and how it was created. Those that are evolutionists believe that the species developed from one single organism and spread into many over a long period of time through natural selection. Those that are Creationists believe that God created the world and was the designer, while Intelligent Design believers believe that there was a designer, but it wasn’t God. However are they really debating about how life create so many different species or are they debating a bigger controversy and question?
A theory is defined as an explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a compilation of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment. Theory is not scientific law, which is a natural phenomenon that has been proven as absolute truth. However, in the public-school setting, evolution, a theory concerning the Earth’s origins, is established as an indisputable fact allowing no room for other theories, specifically creationism, to be taught. These two battling theories uphold two opposing perspectives that attempt to explain the creation and development of life.

There is a big argument among the world discussing the issue of evolution verses creation. The evolutionists believe that everything has evolved from similar ancestors, and over time they changed into the different species we have today. Creationists believe that everything that is on the earth was put here by a higher being that put all of the complexity and variation of the animals that are here today. I believe that everything that on the earth today was created by an intelligent being because evolution is just a theory, evolution is no longer happening, and it is unscientific based on the scientific method.

However, creationism is said to have more logical proof of their points being the strongest.
