INTERVEIW REFLECTION
Preparing
In my preparation for the interview, I paid attention to three key areas: researching, mental preparation, and room preparation. I noticed that my knowledge of COPD, depression, and leg fractures was sufficient after researching these topics on medical sources. I felt my preparation was adequate and felt confident in my understanding of these topics. However, my mental preparation was impacted by stress caused by bad news about a family member's health and practicing the interview in a noisy environment. These events added to my stress levels, leading to a headache, and indicating that my mental state was not optimal. With room prep, I did my best with the limited resources available, such as setting a stopwatch

This was due to my genuine desire to help others and support their growth. My client-centered approach during therapy sessions focuses on ensuring the client's comfort and understanding of the process. This establishes trust and sets a collaborative tone between the OT and client, leading to open communication and meaningful progress in therapy. This error in my performance is directly related to my need to improve in properly identifying myself to establish a professional and trustworthy rapport with the client. As an OT student, it is important to identify myself accurately to build a trusting relationship with my clients and colleagues based on honesty. If I were to give advice, it is crucial for the clients to know that the information is coming from a non-certified OT. Failing to correctly identify myself may lead to a loss of trust from clients once they learn the truth. To address this, I plan to implement the strategy of being honest with those I am practicing with and asking them to call me out if I refer to myself as an OT. For example, this weekend while studying for my practice skills exam, I will ask my partner to be on the lookout for any misidentifications and correct me if necessary. This strategy not only improves this specific aspect of my practice but also helps build the skill of self-reflection and the bravery to be corrected, which will be crucial in my future as an
