Summary
Both cross-sectional and longitudinal methods can be used to accurately obtain and analyze data about intimate partner violence. The strengths of the cross-sectional method is that it can cheaply and quickly be used to analyze a sample at one point in time, and the strength of the longitudinal method is that it can determine causal relationship more accurately about intimate partner violence.
