Is brutus a misunderstood roman leader or a villain for i will discuss this and reveal his true colors . As much have wondered is he guilty for killing caesar but there's more to the story in fact brutus was already losing hope in caesar. And for this reason many feel he is between making it hard for people to understand whether he is villain or a hero. Personally i think otherwise it’s quite simple for me brutus betrayed his friend and above all he betrayed himself. Reasons why he is viewed as a villain for killing and betraying caesar. People would view brutus as rogue and a scoundrel. But the truth is is he was blinded by cassius that caesar turn rome’s citizens into worshippers of caesar and his bloodline. forever abolishing Rome’s religion Cassius used brutus to kill caesar and save rome. But it proved that brutus valued rome over the friendship with him and caesar. The aftermath of the assassination of leads to brutus and the others killing themselves in the battle. Making it questionable whether Brutus was an honorable but from my point of view he is a villain but for the most part. Without that title brutus is no more than a scoundrel and a idiot. Betraying his friend, being lied to and killing himself in the end made his cause pointless and made me realise that Brutus being an honorable was just a lie and made a mockery of himself. But i feel that Brutus is not to blame in the story he was being talked into killing Caesar. My take on this is that Cassius is the true villain in this story and that Brutus was well the sidekick but a very confused
