This stands the case in “Bell Canada’s Remembrance Day: Poppy” commercial. While exploring the Canadian identity generated by the non-verbal campaign, I initially experienced a sentimental display that this brand carries. This campaign in its striking style, notably unveils an honorable tribute to all the veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces (Bell Canada, 2015). Initially, the ad conveys the short story of a young girl who notices a veteran dressed in a Legion uniform, selling poppies.

Appleton Museum Report On September the 26th, as I walked the halls of the Appleton museum, I was overwhelmed at the sheer number of cultural significant works of art. With so many to choose from it was hard to settle on just four from the different categories to write about. The new identity brings retro style, vibrant colors, and a classic appeal in a contemporary style. The new word mark reveals a new classical appeal. The letterforms have been changed to a retro style font using a san serif font for Mayberry and a serif font for diner.

Approximately 6.3 million Canadians are identified as members of a visible minority group, according to Statistics Canada. This is one piece of evidence that proves the theme of minority groups is a valuable consideration for Expo 17’. As visitors from all over the world come to Expo 17’, it is important to prove that Canada is a diverse and accepting country.

Graphic designer, Louise Fili, grew up in an Italian-American family in New Jersey and fell in love with the homeland of her parents at the age of 16 years. Since then, her passion for design, typography and Italian food has influenced her career as a designer.
