A Film Unfinished, Badenhiem 1939, and Jacob the Liar all deal with the concept of Jews relocating to a different town to be punished which many of the characters in the story believed they were going to come out alive in this harsh process and that there was nothing to worry about but in many cases that was wrong. Many of the Jews in the story had the same mindset on what was going to happen to them even if their perception turned out to be wrong. There were many hints in all of these stories that gave them the perspective of something negative could have happened to them but many didn’t see it coming. On the eve of deportation, all of these stories mostly show the Jews in the Ghetto in a negative perspective. In the film “A Film Unfinished” by Yael Hersonski, the movies attitude toward the Jews in the Ghetto is basically how wealthy one is. In parts of the movie, it shows the difference of the wealthy people in the Ghetto and the poor people in the Ghetto and how many of them had better treatments then others. There were many discrepancies in the wealth but at the end it didn’t matter at all because both the rich and poor went to the same place and dealt with the same tasks. Jacob tells lies all the way through the movie to make the Jews in the Ghetto feel like there is hope of coming out alive. He lies and says he has a radio and that the Russians are coming to help them out. The film shows how Jacob wants to give a second chance of hope to the Jews by cheering them up on giving them false information that is not true.
