The authors of both “St. Lucy’s School for Girls Raised by Wolves” and “The Cathedral” use narrative in multiple ways to craft their short stories. Although very different in genre (science fiction vs. contemporary fiction), both pieces use the first-person perspective to fabricate meaningful experiences for the audience. In “St. Lucy’s School for Girls Raised by Wolves,” author Karen Russell tells the story of a special school designed to assimilate young girls into modern society after they have spent the majority of their lives as part of a wolf pack. The short-story has undertones of a metaphor describing every child’s struggle to grow up, and for this reason, the fact that the narrator is an adolescent girl is significant.

Relations Between Sir Gawain And The Green Knight And Christianity “Sir Gawain and The Green Knight” have a plethora of connections and relations to Christianity all around its story. The Irish immigrants were a large percentage of London in the nineteenth century and the greatest flow of their migration came in the early to mid-nineteenth century. This was due to the agricultural problems, the increase of demand for Irish labor in the Industrial revolution, and the bad conditions in Ireland due to the Great Famine (Clive). London was the largest city in the world and the Irish made up the largest immigrant group during this time. In 1841, the first census to record those living in the city was taken and 4% of the population was the Irish. They grew again in 1851 due to the Great Famine.
During the era that Sir Gawain and the Green Knight was written, there was the fusion of two religions coming together. The Pagan religion was the former belief system, but Christianity was on the rise. This is visible through the five sets of five that are discussed when describing Sir Gawain as the ideal knight. The five sets of five include the five joys: Annunciation, Nativity, Resurrection, Ascension, and Assumption; the five senses: sight, hearing, scent, taste, and touch; the five wounds that Christ received on the cross, Gawain’s five fingers, and five characteristics that everyone must follow: friendship, fraternity, purity, politeness, and pity. Gawain personifies all of these in such a way that he as himself can be viewed as the Christian religion’s ideas and beliefs.
characters:Robin Hood, outlaws, sir guy of gisborne, Robin Hoods father, sheriff, Marion, Martin, outlaw by Michael Morpurgo is about a Boy named Robin Hood who loses his mother and has to live with a bunch of outlaws. Also because when sir guy of guisborne is supposed to believe Marion when she tells him that Sir guy of guisborne is planning a shooting contest to get Robin Hood when he comes and the winner gets a gold arrow and 100 pounds which is 200 dollars in Canada. When the shooting contest is over somebody won and now the sir guy of guisborne can’t see the winner but

Since then, it has been “considered to be the cup from which Christ drank during the Last Supper and the one used by Joseph of Arimathea to catch his blood as he hung on the cross”(Lupack). Additionally, the Holy Grail may have been a reflection of events that were taking place in the Middle Ages. It is apparent that both the Grail quest and the Crusade have the element of courageous knights going on a great quest to bring back a sacred object and both fail in the end. The Holy Grail might have been intended to serve as a moral reminder to the people of Britain. Besides Merlin and the Grail, Boron added the Sword in the Stone, and expanded on the Round Table.
