Jeffrey Dahmer Jeffrey Dahmer was a serial killer and cannibal born on May 21st, 1960 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He was born to loving parents and later attended the Ohio State University. He had a minor surgery at the age of 6 to take care of a double hernia which appeared to have an effect on him as he became insecure of himself. His father got a new job forcing the family to move to Ohio leading to him becoming antisocial and detached from society. He was also homosexual and had to repress it due to his parents strong catholic beliefs. Dahmer claimed that he always had thoughts of necrophilia and murder and the stress of his parents marriage led to him taking those thoughts into actions. Dahmer found his first victim, Steven Hicks, while the man was hitchhiking and picked him up and brought him home. They hung out, drank beer, and had sex. When Hicks tried to leave Dahmer killed Hicks with a barbell which he used to hit him in the head with. He dismembered Hicks, put his body parts into plastic bags and buried them in the woods behind his parents’ house. Dahmer would not kill again for nine years. While he awaited sentencing he moved back in with his grandmother’s house where he began the process again with Anthony Sears in February of 1989. At the trial for the sexual assault charge Dahmer spoke well and defended his case claiming that the arrest has changed his outlook on life. He stated that he needs treatment, not to be sent to jail, and the judge agreed allowing Dahmer to work during the day but return to prison at night, along with a five years of probation. The judge went on to end his charge after ten months and Dahmer was released where he spent some time with grandmother and then went on to buy his own apartment in
