Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer was known as the Milwaukee Cannibal. He was an American serial killer and sex offender who committed the rape, murder, and dismemberment of 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991. His late murders consisted of necrophilia, cannibalism, and the permanent preservation of all body parts, or parts of the skeletal structure. When Jeffrey was just a child, he was known as an energetic, happy little boy. Then at the age of 4 when surgery to correct a double hernia seemed to change the boy. He became withdrawn after his little brother was born. By his early teens, he was disengaged, tense, and very lonesome.
