The term “serial killer” is defined as someone who commits more than three murders over a period that spans more than one month. Most of the time, these murders are to benefit their psyche. These people are said to bring their victims to the same location and use the same kind of killing for each. Some common traits of a potential serial killer may include alcohol and substance abuse, abuse during childhood, growing up lonely and isolated, fantasizing about things, or physical injuries.
