Jerry Jones may be one of the richest men ever from Arkansas with a net worth of 4.2 billion dollars. Jerry Jones was one of the first NFL coaches to have a 3 championship team. Jerry Jones was also the first coach to lead his team to three championships in four years. The past years the Cowboys have gotten three division titles with 13 playoff appearances. With the success of the team’s playing he was the main drive behind the building of the new AT&T stadium. In that group, only Jerry Jones and Robert Kraft of the Patriots have led their franchises to more than two Super Bowls.Jones Also joins Art Rooney, Jack Kent Cooke, Al Davis, Eddie DeBartolo and Kraft as the only people who have have won at least three Super Bowls as NFL owners. His contributions and innovations in the areas of marketing, corporate sponsorships, television, stadium management, stadium development, labor negotiations and community service have made him very well recognized. Since becoming involved with the Cowboys, Jones has been recognized through his induction into the Boys and Girls club American Hall of Fame, The Texas Sports Hall of Fame,the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame and the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. In July of 2012, Jones was recognized as the Lifetime Achievement Award recipient by the Arkansas Sportscasters and Sportswriters Hall of Fame. He has been very successful as an NFL Manager. In April of 2014 Jones received a Horatio Alger Award in Washington, D.C. and was put as a lifetime member into the Horatio Alger Association of Americans.
