Jesus Christ is the peripheral figure in Christianity, much like Moses in Judaism and Muhammad in Islam. Christ is a Greek word for the Jewish term ‘Messiah’, meaning the appointed one. The resurrection of Jesus Christ and death is an integral aspect of Christianity. This has been conveyed in various parts of the Holy Bible. Christianity is a monotheistic religion which has its roots in Judaism that is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. In Christianity, Jesus is portrayed and viewed as sinless and is the ultimate example which Christians aim to emulate. Jesus was described as a compassionate, selfless and holy man (Acts 3:14) who taught his followers to turn to God. The trinity is also referred to as the central dogma and mystery of the Christian faith. The trinity has been describing in a relation to three key function-creating bringing god’s new life to all creation and sanctifying blessing and making holy all creation redeeming turning all creation from sin and darkness and more towards god. “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.” (Corinthians 13:14) In this verse this tells the Christians that Jesus is the son of god, god and the holy spirit. Also from the Nicene creed it says “With the father and son he is worshipped and glorified. In addition, the Christians believe god has revealed himself to humanity and offers himself in loving relationships. To all Christians they believe that god has revealed himself in creation, through the teachings and writings of the prophets, through the holy spirit and mostly in person, life and teaching of Jesus Christ. God’s revelation is not only God’s self-communication to human beings to respond in faith and action in present and future. Today revelation continues to happen through god communicating to our human history-through its historical events, through Christianity, through world religions, through all the joys, hope and frustrations from the entire world.
