The story from the gospel of John, in which Jesus tells his disciples to cast their fishing nets off the right side of the boat; illustrates the moral dilemma that we are currently facing today, albeit not the way Christians would perceive. In this story, Jesus' disciples were unsure of what to do after his crucifixion and some of them had decided to go fishing one day. As Jesus' resurrection was unbeknownst to them, the disciples did not recognize Jesus was standing on the shore when he asked if they had caught anything yet, which they had not.
