How the Story of Jesus Had Been Shared by His Faithful Followers
Parents try to teach their kids valuable lessons to help their children succeed in life. The
New Testament is similar in this concept; it is filled with stories and lessons that our society still uses today in order to be successful followers of Christ, Jesus. The New Testament shares the life of Jesus from the start of his ministries until the time of his death.
In fact, the New Testament and Old Testaments relationship to history are different. The

Johnson defines dissonance as, “the tension between two ideas”. People had trouble understanding the New Testament since they had a very strict belief of the Torah. The death of
Jesus was the first part of his story to be put into a narrative. Jesus’ believers know him as being present for them because he went through the resurrection.
Additionally, the literature in the New Testament was written to address actual situations, but were not meant to be sacred text. Letters were a common way to communicate in those days.
