The 35th president of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, was one of the most influential presidents in history. He was married to Jacqueline Kennedy and had two children, Caroline Kennedy and John F. Kennedy Jr. The president was loved by everyone, including my grandmother, Susan Krein. She was a senior in high school when JFK was president and when he was assassinated. My grandmother’s memory of this day includes her entire town having off from school and work, so that they could watch the funeral. One event that stood out most to my grandma during the funeral was how Kennedy’s kids and wife were handling the loss of this important person in their life. The kids were very young when this event happened and they were most likely very scared of what was going to happen next. Many people still visit Kennedy’s grave in Arlington National Cemetery located in Washington
