J.K. Rowling If you have ever seen the movie series Harry Potter then you know that is pure fire. It all started with a writer that goes by JK Rowling some people say that the writer has a kid imagination , but what they don't know is that it takes a kid imagination to be a writer. If you had a group full of people that have ever even heard the writer JK Rowling I bet you they would think the writer is a man in his 40s that lives in a tiny home in Greece or Rome Italy. That sounds like a dream but really JK Rowling is just her writer/pen name, yes JK is a women, JKs real name is Joanne Rowling. “Joanne Rowling was born to Peter James Rowling, aircraft engineer and Anne Rowling, a science technician, on July 31,1965 in Yate, England. Fun fact Her parents first met on a train departing from King's Cross Station bound for Arbroath in 1964.”(Insider,2018) They married on March 14,1965, and a few months later Joanne was born. Rowling's sister Dianne was born at their home when Rowling was 23 months old. The family moved to the nearby village Winterbourne when Rowling was four. As a child, Rowling wrote fantasy stories which she read to her sister. At nine, Rowling moved to Church Cottage in the Gloucestershire village of Tutshill. Rowling says she is christian, and attended a church of Scotland congregation while writing Harry Potter. Her eldest daughter, Jessica, was baptised there. JK once said, I believe in God, not magic. Early on she felt that if readers knew of her Christian beliefs they would be able to predict her plot , she was the only one in her family who regularly went to church. JK struggled with doubt, that she believes in an afterlife, and that her faith plays a part in her
