St. Joan of Arc is a an inspirational martyr that has affected many people up to this date. She is the patron saint of France, martyrs, soldiers, and the Women's Army Corps. Throughout her life, Joan had a heroic heart and a fearless mind. Her actions inspired me and many others to be courageous, daring, and brave. She was born on January 6th, 1412 in Domrémy, Duchy of Bar, France. Her feast day is on May 30th, which is the day that she unfortunately died at the young age of 19 in Rouen, Normandy. Her parents were Isabelle Romée and Jacques d'Arc. She had four siblings who were named Pierre d'Arc, Jacquemin d'Arc, Catherine d'Arc, and Jean d'Arc. She was appointed to about seventy charges against her, including witchcraft, heresy, and dressing like a man. She was then found guilty which led to her being burned at the stake on May 30, 1431. She was faithful and loyal to God and the mission that He gave her. She did this by exceeding her ability to serve Him all the days of her life, even during her imprisonment, until the day of her death. She was an example of a person sacrificing her life for her faith. She left a mark on the world and inspired others to believe in their faith. “One life is all we have and we live it as we believe in living it, but to sacrifice what you are and to live without belief is a fate more terrible than dying. In my opinion, St. Joan of Arc has been an inspirational role model to me and many others. She is in many words, diverse, brave, and faithful. Once you read about her story, she is the kind of person that is hard to forget. Joan is one of my most favorite saints because she strived to motivated others with her heroic actions. She left a legacy of faith and bravery that many people have looked to for inspiration over the past couple of
