On this 9/23 worker met with Mr. Joey Hunt at the Walker Co. Police Department, for the purpose of interviewing the PARAN. When questioned about the money Mr. Hunt stated, Mr. Hyde and himself spent the money on eating out, buying expensive cuts of meat, paid insurance up for 6 months, and Mr. Hyde purchased a new set of teeth. According to Mr. Hunt all transactions Mr. Hyde was aware of and would tell him to go out and have fun because they needed a break from each other. Spending did increase when they received the money but it was because Mr. Hyde thinks he has to have name brand products and the highest slab of meat. Hunt, the cash withdrawal for 400.00 around the time of the party in Oakman had nothing to do with the party because his brother paid for the party. He withdraws 400.00 because he was afraid some of the automatic bills would come out and make the account overdrawn. When it was pointed out to Mr. Hunt that reasoning did not make sense, he stated, “well I don’t remember what I used the money for.” When confronted with the Facebook posts he stated, “I was living the life I am accustomed to living before I moved in with him.” Before moving in with Mr. Hyde Mr. Hunt worked at Cordova Nursing Home as a CNA. Cordova CNA pay is around 10.50hr. Mr. Hunt quit working at Cordova NH April 2 to live with Mr. Hyde and be his full-time caregiver. According to Mr. Hunt, this would help save money on sitters and he would receive about 1,400 a month for his services. That amount would equal to his income when working at nursing home as CNA. Worker instructed Mr. Hunt to keep a record of all transactions so there would be no question about where the money went. During interview, worker asked Mr. Hunt about the 1400.00 arrangement each month. He stated he took over the debit card as his own because before Mr. Hunt received the life insurance money he used his own money to help support Mr.
