John Adams John Adams was one of the great founding fathers of the United States of America. A founding father is a leader of the movement to break off of Britain and become an independent country. He was the first vice president of the United States and the second president. I am writing about John Adams because he helped America in a very large way. He was such a great christian and I think he is a great role model for everyone. So next let's see how John Adams life was. John Adams was born October 30th, 1735 into a cozy, not rich, family. He and his family lived in Massachusetts on a farm( they were farmers). His father was a deacon in the Congregational Church and earned a living by farming and shoemaking. John love to be outside, and he loved to hunt. He wanted to be a farmer, but his father made him get a proper education. He went to a school that taught reading and writing then went to a Latin school for people who planned to go to college.He did great with his studies and went to Harvard College when he was 15 years old. He graduated the year of 1755 and taught Latin in Worcester, Massachusetts to earn tuition fees for law. He became the local Lawyer in Worcester.In the 1770’s he was a delegate to the Continental Congress. In the 1780s Adams was a diplomat in Europe and helped negotiate the Treaty of Paris.From 1789 to 1797 he was the first an american vice president. Then was the 2nd president of the USA from 1797 to 1801. …show more content…

This war was a very big part of American history. If this war did not happen then America would not be here today. John Adams was played a very big part in this and that is why he is so historical. He was a patriot, or someone against the British crown and with God. He helps GEorge Washington in a very big way and he was a great leader. I don't think that America would be here today without
