People who have made an impact on the world are not always privileged or special. Though they may not have advantages, they do have the courage and determination to make a change. Some examples of these movers and shakers are John F. Kennedy, Maya Angelou, and Barack Obama. John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States, once declared, “Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth.” He means humans flourish through unique thoughts and actions, and conventionality stifles liberty and improvement.
