Paper Towns, published in 2008, is a novel written by John Green, an award-winning American author, writer, producer and actor that is most known for his romance The Fault In Our Stars (which was announced at number one on The New York Times Best Seller list in January 2012).
The main character, Quentin Jacobsen, also known as Q, is a teenager who happens to live next door to the girl he’s in love with, Margo Roth Spiegelman, who is really adventurous, popular, pretty and has shown no interest in him whatsoever. However, once she suddenly goes missing after one night of leading him into a train of payback pranks, Q becomes obsessed with finding her and is willing to follow every clue to get Margo back.
