The Pastor and First Lady” Scenario: John Mark Sinlow, of Cary, NC was convicted of first degree murder eleven years ago and sentenced to death for killing the five-year-old son of The Reverend Dr. & Mrs. (First Lady) A. Jimmy King. The son, Little Jimmy King, Jr., was abducted, abused and sexually assaulted before being stabbed over 13 times to death. John Mark Sinlow has shown no remorse for the brutal, savage killing, at court he told Judge Clarence Thompson that if he ever gets out of Central Prison he was going to find the prettiest, little boy he could to have fun with. Continue to ask God for more knowledge, patience, wisdom, love and understanding to forgive. He would give them to her. (Matthew 7:7 NLT). Likewise, there was the need for repentance, to turn from sin (their thoughts, actions) and change their hearts and behavior (Acts 17:30 NLT). Another essential point pastor King shared with his wife was to think about the Sinlow (the other person).
